I worked until 6pm last night on a project, so I opted to come in late to work this morning. Those two extra hours must really have worn me out, though, because I didn't realize until I sat down at my desk that I was carrying a brown shoe and a black shoe. Good thing I wear my boots to work every day, or I'd be out of luck.
I did that once at church--and sang in the choir with one blue shoe and one black shoe.
ReplyDeleteI did that once when I worked at the Y. They were completely different running shoes. One of the clients I was helping asked me why I did it. (until then I didn't even notice!!!) We lived in North Hudson at the time so Tim just brought me one of the matches.

ReplyDeleteI meant to put on dress shoes yesterday and realized at the office I had put on tennis shoes with my nice outfit. The funnier part is that no one thought it out of character for me.
ReplyDeleteThe other day I walked into class, and realized that between me and a room full of 15 year olds, I was the only one not wearing fur. I know it's not a shoe... but I still felt a fool. It's time we rose up against the fashion elites! This year black shoe blue shoe. Next year: Milan!
