Can there be too many?

Erin: I'm reading this book right now that seems SO familiar I feel like I've read it already. But when it comes down to it, I can't figure out who "did it."
Richard: I think that probably means you've read too many books.

The answer is no. Also? You probably can't remember because you have a new baby and that means not enough sleep and that means the light bulb has temporarily dimmed (so to speak). :)

I know I feel there are too many when I go into my local B&N. I get overwhelmed. So many books, so little time... I'll never get them all read, so in many ways, I've quit trying. It has to be really exceptional to hold my interest because if it's not, I keep thinking 'I could (or should or need to be) doing this' other thing instead. Once upon time I thought I might write a book, but not any more. There are too many voices clamoring for attention as it is.
