o no!! I hate it when that happens...
used to happen to me every year. A few years ago I just left the stoopid lights on the tree when I took it apart to put it back in the box. Maybe they don't like being taken off every year, but now they work all the time.
DOH!!!
That used to happen to me all the time, too, until I started putting the lights on the tree when they were on...saves all that hassle.Another "DOH"...when you get them all strung up and realize that the plugger-inner is at the TOP of the tree and not the bottom...I hate that!!
