Green?

I'm turning so green I just reused a zip-lock bag.
Or does that just make me old?

I vote for "frugal". When you start hoarding Cool Whip containers and balling up your aluminum foil, then you're old.

You may find out that it gets old really fast. I did that for awhile, even stringing "clothesline" across the sink so that they could drip dry. I have since found better things to do with my time. :)

Oops. I commented under the name Anonymous. Actually, I'm Laurie S. Erin, I'm looking for the post re: Shirley and the Dog Bowl.

Haha! Hi, Laurie! Now that I think about it I don't think I ever wrote the post about Shirley and the dog bowl. Mayhaps that should be tomorrow's post? I really thought I had written it...I'm sorry!

Kelli is smart.
ziplocks are a pain to wash but it's always nice to have spares laying around :)

My vote is economical and environmentally minded!

Mom..totally my mom. Love you, Erin. All I can do is iron like my mom. That's it. That's all I've got.

You can reuse baggies for Cheerios, Goldfish, etc. However, if you start re-using baggies for meat and other bacteria-thriving products, I'm going to have to remind you of the saying, "when in doubt, THROW IT OUT!"

But, yeah, way to be green! Mother Nature loves you right now!

I'm not sure there is anything "green" about a plastic baggie, re-used or not.
