An Introvert's Birthday

Happy 30th Birthday, Richard!

I had a nice birthday party all planned out for Richard, and was all set to send out the invitations about two weeks ago when Richard stopped me.

"Erin, giving me a birthday party is like giving me an anti-birthday present."

We'll be celebrating Richard-style, at home, quietly enjoying eachother's company. :)

I agree with Richard 100%. Erin, if Richard is anything like myself he appriciates the lack of birthday party WAY more than an actual party. On behalf of all introverts, thank you!

I guess Rich is just one of those people that wants to grow old gracefully and un-noticed in the quiet style only Richard does best.
But if you see him wandering off by himself you may want to have him checked out! Happy Birthday Richard it's your Day to do what YOU want! MOM

ex.act.ly what happend on my hubby's thirtieth, only the party was a surprise, so there was no stopping it. one of the miserabliest events of his life. it is still not a fun or funny memory. At least you were stopped before the "fun" ensued.

Good for you, Erin, for being willing to do it his way. Happy
30th birthday, Richard, even though you don't know me.

When Todd turned 30 I was told to NOT throw him a party in any way shape for form. I didn't, however, my aunt did. AND I got the stink eye and cold shoulder all evening. HOW does that work?? Happy Birthday Richard!
