I worked until 6pm last night on a project, so I opted to come in late to work this morning. Those two extra hours must really have worn me out, though, because I didn't realize until I sat down at my desk that I was carrying a brown shoe and a black shoe. Good thing I wear my boots to work every day, or I'd be out of luck.

I did that once at church--and sang in the choir with one blue shoe and one black shoe.
I did that once when I worked at the Y. They were completely different running shoes. One of the clients I was helping asked me why I did it. (until then I didn't even notice!!!) We lived in North Hudson at the time so Tim just brought me one of the matches.
I went to a job interview with one black and one blue shoe. Didn't get that teaching job as I couldn't even dress myself!
I meant to put on dress shoes yesterday and realized at the office I had put on tennis shoes with my nice outfit. The funnier part is that no one thought it out of character for me.
The other day I walked into class, and realized that between me and a room full of 15 year olds, I was the only one not wearing fur. I know it's not a shoe... but I still felt a fool. It's time we rose up against the fashion elites! This year black shoe blue shoe. Next year: Milan!
Jenna, very, very funny. At least you didn't get to class and realize you were the only one not wearing SHOES, which is what I thought you were going to say.
